To inculcate entrepreneurial qualities among school students, an initiative named‘School Innovation Council’ was launched by the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell in year 2022. These councils have been established so far in 3,600+ schools all across India. The calendar prescribed under the SIC includes various activities at school level including idealization, prototyping, understanding business plan development,motivational sessions by successful entrepreneurs, etc. with hand holding support from the Innovation Cell. These councils at schools will be connected to the higher education system through a network.
